When I first moved to North Hollywood, CA it was September 30, 2010. After I had my school orientation and recuperated from a 26 hour drive. I went to go see Marilyn. October 3, 2010. I was very excited like any first timer to see her house and visit her grave. I took a girl I had met from orientation with me and we went to her house first. Of course I was wearing my Marilyn shirt and had my Marilyn purse with me. I pulled up to the cul-de-sac and we both got out of the car and that’s when she came to us, like she was greeting us somehow.
We had went up to the gate and I saw through the cracks of the gate to her home. After my friend saw the same thing and we looked up and saw the roof of her house I felt something from behind me. I haven’t really fully believed in ghosts or have been haunted by them. But I felt sad, I knew that she was killed there so that was understandable. I felt like someone had came up from behind me squeezed my shoulders with their hands and put their head on my left shoulder. It was like Marilyn came up and did that to me and when she put her head on my shoulder it was like she was saying, “Isn’t it sad? Isn’t it sad what happened to me?” I felt her pain, her sadness I slowly turned my head to the left of course no one was there. I asked my friend, “Do you feel that?” She said “Yes. I feel really sad, it feels creepy here can we go please?” And I said “Yeah.” very slowly I felt like I shouldn’t make any sudden movements or quick responses. When I started to leave, I felt Marilyn loosen her grip and drift away, as she was doing that there a slight breeze. We both left and went to her grave where it was very still, nothing, no spirits, or any kind of feelings when we went to visit her grave. Maybe because she was killed at her home and not at her grave.
For the second and last encounter I had with Marilyn it was February 5, 2012. I went to her grave and talked to her. I told her how I was a fan and how I was sorry for what happened, etc. I was there a few minutes. And I put my hand on her grave and it moved, I didn’t do anything forceful just lightly placed my hand there. When I did the second time it made noises, and the third and final time to make sure I wasn’t loosing my mind it moved and made noises. When I took my hand off it stopped. Now I had been to her grave 3 times before this and nothing like that ever happened. When I went for her birthday and anniversary a lot of fans were there and they were touching the grave and I even put up a picture of her and nothing happened. It was just me and Marilyn this time. I took it as a sign that she heard me because when I had started to leave a group of fans came up and placed their hands on it and I heard no noises, nothing was moving. Even when I was slowly walking to my car to listen for noises nothing happened.
I wish I could’ve met her and even befriended her but Marilyn made it known to me that she’s still around and she heard me. And that she hears and knows when her fans are there. If this happened to me I’m sure it’s happened to other fans. Have you had any encounters with Marilyn?
